Howdy! Welcome to Perseus Motors. I’ve spent over a decade immersed in the collector car world as an automotive appraiser, historian, and critic, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to often find myself surrounded by some of history’s greatest cars. And, I hope yours are next on the list.

I began my career in automotive journalism, ascending to hold senior editorial positions and bylines at some of the biggest brands in the industry including Motor Trend, Hagerty, Sports Car Market, and Automobile Magazine. During my time as second- and then first-in-command at a number of publication’s collector car bureaus, rigorous experience in research, documentation, and automotive event logistics were necessities. As such, my dossier of sourced (and driven) cars includes everything from multi-million-dollar hypercars to priceless prototypes pulled from private collections and the archives of major OEMs.  

Later positions pushed me to the forefront of collector car market research, a role interfacing directly with Hagerty’s valuation team and its Insider market reports. As the principal figure behind Perseus Motors, I approach collector cars as an asset class and offer estimations of value based on my education under the American Society of Appraiser’s (ASA) Personal Property focus.

Perseus Motors proudly operates out of the greater Southern California region, but we’re prepared to meet the discrete needs of collectors and enthusiasts on a global scale.
